Test Results

When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Doctors check results on a regular basis and you will be contacted if your results cause any concerns.  Please assume that your results are within the correct range if you do not hear from us.  If you still wish to check your results, please call the surgery after 1000 a.m. five working days from your test.

Sometimes a doctors might ask reception staff to call you back - please note that the reception staff are not qualified to comment on results and therefore it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.

Please remember to drop your urine specimen before 12 noon at the surgery unless specifically asked to do this at a different time of the day.
